About the Company

Fomi Ltd. is a manufacturing company that makes tools and devices for the needs of manufacturing processes of the automotive industry. The company was developed from a trade shop called Foltyn Miran sp, and continues its family tradition of metalworking industry. Until a decade ago, we used to make small metallic objects, but then the demands on the market changed and we have started making progressive and transfer tools for sheet metal processing for the needs of automotive industry trademarks such as BMW, AUDI, CITROEN, RENAULT etc.

We make business with various companies such as CIMOS Plc, KOVINOPLASTIKA Lož, TPV, LIV Kolesa and Hidravlika. The biggest part of development in the company was made in collaboration with CIMOS Plc PC Koper, regarding the development of AUDI and BMW projects on the field of construction and tool making for punching the integral parts of compound pedals, door hinges, front and rear hoods and rear car doors. In the past year, we have finished projects such as AUDI (project A3: active hinge for the front hood of the motor) and C7 project (a pylon for the Audi A6 motor hood).

We collaborated with TPV Novo Mesto on the project X44 and manufactured different tools such as a pylon for the front bumper and many others. We have to stress that all project documentation for the manufactured tools in our company is developed and made solely by ourselves. 

For the needs of KOVINOPLASTIKA Lož Company, we manufacture integral parts of tools such as matrix, knives, bending segments etc.

In 2012, we intend to built and move our plant to a new location in Komenda business zone. We have already bought the land and organised the projects.

We regularly renovate our mechanical park so that we are able to compete with high technology and new know-how in the fields of construction and programming for the needs of high quality tool manufacturing.
